The meat is absolutely exceptional! Very friendly service. We were celebrating our son&#39;s graduation and had a memorable evening in this classy restaurant.

Food was delicious, particularly the chorizo prawns. Very expensive for shepherd&#39;s pie, it was yummy though.Wine overpriced.

Had a lovely lunch with family, we asked to sit in a quieter area hence we&#39;re away from view of staff in a raised area - despite us being out of view the staff were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely eat at Fire Lake again

Went as a couple and we both agreed that the fillet steak and ribeye we had were the best we&rsquo;d eaten. The rest of the food we ordered was also excellent. Service was top notch and it was great that we got water without asking. They were also very helpful and friendly.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was good. Bottle of wine and 3 gin and tonics and 3 starters and mains was over &pound;250 including tip, which didn&rsquo;t necessarily seem on the cheap side. But would go again.

Our first visit here didn&#39;t disappoint. This was a special occasion, my husbands birthday. I read reviews first, fortunately the positive reviews were true in our case.We had cocktails in the lounge area, I recommend the long island, one of the best I&#39;ve had. The food was very good, the monkfish starter was so delicious. My husbands fillet steak was overcooked, however this was quickly rectified  and took nothing away from our great experience here.Big shout out to our lovely server Alex, she was attentive, helpful and such a lovely person to talk to.Dakota is perfect for an intimate meal, although we did see larger groups. We will definitely return.

This restaurant is excellent. Incredibly enjoyed our meal, food was outstanding and the staff made my birthday such a special event. Will be returning very soon!
